Hi Everyone

2015 is taking a little while for people to adjust to.  Slightly fewer repeats of Miranda, the storyline in Eastenders chirping up slightly and people struggling to get out of bed.

We too at the Rising Sun, are aso a little prone to this and to help both us and you, we have just one event this weekend.  On Saturday, we bring you RED RAG REUNION

This Saturday afternoon, the Rising Sun Arts Centre are proud to be hosting a reunion for Red Rag, Reading’s radical monthly newspaper.

It's open to anyone interested in the radical history of Reading, the reunion will include displays, talks, personal testimonies from those involved and a discussion about the paper’s future. There will also be tea and cake (donations will be taken to cover costs).  You still have time to let people know you are coming at reunion@readings-only-newspaper.org.

We're open from 2pm to 5pm, and it's FREE to get in.

That’s everything for another week, just to remind you that we are, as always, at 30 Silver Street, Reading, RG1 2ST (If you pop it into your satnav or Google, we shall magically appear!)

Have a nice weekend!
