Children aged 9-16 have the chance to take a creative journey to the year 2050 with a three-day workshop curated by the Creative People.

Running on Tuesday, March 29, Wednesday, March 30 and Thursday, March 31, Reading 2050 will give young people the chance to explore a range of different art forms including photography, animation, junk sculptures, printmaking and more, and create a vision of our town’s future.

They’ll be able to work with a selection of local artists and art organisations before going on to create a piece of work all of their own, based on the Reading 2050 theme. These final pieces will be included in a public exhibition at 3-4pm on the Thursday, giving our young artists a chance to show off their work. The project is also linked to an Arts Award Explore qualification.

Places are limited, so to register your young artist for this event, please complete this form as soon as possible.

For more information, email the team at: Reading2050@creative-people.org.uk
