Christmas and New Year celebrations at the Rising Sun

We’re bursting at the seams with festive fun this December.

This Sunday’s Christmas Art Market kicked off our Christmas programme here at the centre, and we’ve got plenty of fun ways for you to spread the holiday cheer.

This Friday, 11th December, the Big Untidy present a “Slightly Festive” night out, featuring Grae J Wall y Los Chicos Muertos, the lovely 'My Northern Sky', the very talented and hard-gigging Andy Robbins and Luke Paulo and the Grapefruit filling in for Ufton Nervet.

Then, Saturday 12th December brings the Tribute Night Christmas Special – your favourite Tribute Night contributors playing your favourite Christmas classics, plus port and mince pies (apparently). And we’re promised a rousing Band aid-style finale, too!

On Saturday 19th December, Club Velocity and Bandoramma present Itssss Christmas, featuring Area 52, Big Zero and The Makarov Scheme, plus free mince pies, free shizzle and free Christmas joy. And, according to Sid, Kevin will be dressing up as Father Christmas or a Christmas Fairy…

Then, we bring the season – and the year – to a close with the Club Velocity/Bandoramma New Year’s Eve Party. Dolly and The Clothes Pegs will lead the NYE knees-up, ably supported by The August List and Damien A. Passmore. And there’ll be free punch and a free buffet (first come first served).

So, it’d be lovely to see you all this Chrimbo – and raise a glass of Christmas cheer with you.

Hi Everyone

I do hope you're enjoying this somewhat unseasonal weather and not sweltering too much.  Excuse me a moment, I just need a cold shower (again)
