Celebrate Black History Month with us

Damien's picture

We’re once again proud to support Black History Month with an eclectic programme of events that includes film, spoken word, special guests and more.

Starting things off on Thursday 6 October is our Art Exhibition & Wellbeing Seminar displaying work by local artists. We’ll also discuss the health benefits of art to support our wellbeing, with guests from the Tanzanite Day Care Service.

On Thursday 13th October, we’ll host our third Nubian Poetry Workshop and we'll be celebrating with cake and light refreshments. The following week we have two events – a special Business Hub on Thursday 20th, followed by a special Stand-Up Cinema presentation of The Wind Will Carry Us.
